A friend of mine was punched in the face in the path train as it rolled into the Newport station. As far as I know, nothing was ever done about it. I’ve bought pepper spray for myself and friends. I am nervous to take my child to daycare. And I am hypervigilant wherever I go now. I don’t even feel safe walking through the target parking lot.
